Teacher Appreciation week is May 5 - 9.
We want to thank our teachers and all support staff that help teach and love all the students at SWE. We are so grateful for all you do to help students be successful.

We have loved seeing how much everyone has been reading this week with our reading challenge. It's time to finish up those books and start returning them to the library. All library books need to be returned by May 9 and lost books paid for by May 16.
Thanks for helping us return all books back to our library.

Spirit Week Highlights
We have had so much fun collecting cereal boxes to support Northridge Teen Center and
dressing up to support our military families.
Thank you Student Council, PTA volunteers, and advisor, Mrs. Larsen for all your hard work to make this a fantastic Spirit Week.

Thanks so much for the support during our Hope Week two weeks ago! Our Hope Squad kids and parent volunteers were incredibly helpful, and we're grateful for the whole community who helped us promote kindness and hope at our school. Windjammers are the best!

We are collecting boxes of cereal this week to donate to Northridge High School's Teen Center. Our goal is to collect 1000 boxes. The class who donates the most wins a class party. So far, Mrs. Spencer's class is in the the lead.
Time for some R&R wear pajamas to school on Tuesday, April 8th as part of our Military Child Spirit Week.
Get ready for a fun HOPE Week. Each day you can wear a color or shirt to show your school spirit and brighten the day for each other.
Students will participate in simple activities during lunch.
