Hello Windjammers!  I am so excited to be the new Principal at South Weber Elementary.  South Weber is a wonderful community and I am proud to be a part of it!   This will be my 24th year working in Davis School District and my 18th year as a principal.  

I graduated from the University of Utah with a  bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in school administration.   I grew up in Utah County but work brought me here.  I am married with two fantastic children who both went to schools in Davis School District.  

Our mission at South Weber Elementary is that EVERY person learns and grows at high levels, both academically and personally, in a safe and supportive environment.

Our vision is that students will head to junior high as academically proficient and well versed in our SEL competencies:  I know myself, I care about others, I am in charge of myself, I can make smart choices.  I work to have healthy relationships.

A Little About Us

At South Weber Elementary, we believe in educating the whole child.  We work diligently to provide high levels of academic learning as well as to provide students with the social and emotional skills necessary to be successful in the school environment.  We believe you will find South Weber Elementary to be a kind and welcoming environment in which we support the academic and personal growth of all students.

South Weber Elementary School LEA-Specific Licenses 2024-2025

  • This school employs individuals holding an LEA-specific educator license and/or endorsement.

  • The following designations or levels apply to educator licenses, license areas (i.e.-elementary, secondary, special education), and content endorsements (i.e.-mathematics, music, Spanish, social studies):

Professional: the educator has completed an educator preparation program that includes content and pedagogical knowledge. This program may have been completed at a university or in an alternate pathway that was supported by school districts/charters and the Utah State Board of Education.                                                                                                                                               

Associate: The educator is currently completing an educator preparation program but has not yet completed all requirements for a Professional Educator license, license area, or endorsement. The educator is enrolled in a university-based or Local Education Agency (LEA)-based program. When the educator completes the program, they will have a professional level.                                                         

LEA-Specific: The educator has not completed an educator preparation and is not currently enrolled in one.
